The Vallespir Rally (or Rallye du Vallespir) runs every year at the end of March and the beginning of April. It is managed by the ASCA Rousillon and takes place in the Vallespir Valley, with one of the routes runing for about 1.5km beside our property.

So if you're looking for a peaceful week - don't choose this particular time of year!

However, if you are a rally fan, then you couldn't get a better ring side seat ... in fact, the youtube link below was taken on the edge of our land, from where you'll get lots of good angles for pictures.

There are two races past our house, one usually starts about midday and the other is a night run. There's usually a great carnival atmosphere and plenty of routes to try out yourself before the racing. The event lasts a couple of days longer as the legions of cars arrive ready for the rally.
