activities » horse riding

The local tourst office (Syndicat d'Initiative or Office de Tourisme) will have full lists of centres équestres or centres hippiques.

They usually offer either group excursions, or for the more experienced the possibility to go off on the trails on your own.

The Camargue (approximately 2 hrs 30 mins from Can Llouquette) is probably the region most associated with horses in southern France.

But there are plenty of establishments within the Pyrénées Orientales that cater for horse riding excursions.
