There's so much to see in Languedoc-Roussillon
that it is difficult to condense this into one web page.
There are a multitude of fortified Cathar castles,
cathedrals and every village seems to have a wonderful romanesque
church.
There is night-life in abundance in Perpignan,
along the costal towns and in Narbonne, Girona and Barcelona.
There are famous museums scattered in unusal
places - the Dalí Museum and the Toy Museum in Figueras
and the Museum of Modern Art in Céret.
There are wonderful coastal towns like Collioure
and Sète that offer great seafood.
Barcelona is probably one of the most creative
and enthralling European cities - offering wonderful architecture,
scattered with Gaudian jewels - culture and museums in abundance.
And Perpignan itself has a rather enchanting
centre full of shops, squares and the ubiquitous brassieres and
cafés.
