Dearest Simon & Ashley

Á bientôt! ... our second time round ... has been equally as magical as the first visit!

Thanks so much for EVERYTHING … the food (sanglier especially!), handy tips and above all the company and laughter. The place feels like a second home to us, and you an extension of the Goss clan.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the area better and spending time with you … Can’t wait for round three in June ’08.

Dear Simon & Ashley

... this is so far from the ‘vie en France’ cliché. A really beautiful serene location steeped in history and mountain lore.

I love the confluence of languages and cultures and the deep peace at Can Llouquette. Hope to be back. Thanks so much for the ambiance and good company.

Simon & Ashley

We have so enjoyed our stay at Can LLouquette – a complete antidote to our usual hectic lives. It was a pleasure to use the kitchen which is so well equipped.

We will never forget: collecting the delicious spring water; shooting stars and butterflies; the tranquillity and space to relax; Nathan’s face (1 ½ years old) when a butterfly landed and stayed on his hand; spotting a wild boar up the path late one evening.

We don’t want to leave and hope one day to return.

Thank you for your hospitality.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Can Llouquette. The house is great and you seem to have thought of everything. Weather was also perfect and we can’t believe it’s October already.

The recommended beach restaurant at Collioure was fantastic and le Diamond Noir in Montferrer was also very good.

Please can you pass on our thanks again to the man at the restaurant for the loan of his jump leads when our car battery went flat!

The restaurant at the bottom of the hill at Le Tech was well worth a visit, if only to see what came next during the 5-course surprise lunch!

The boys enjoyed their trip to Spain for a game of golf whilst we enjoyed relaxing by the pool!

We arrived back late yesterday afternoon feeling very relaxed.

Thanks again

Two weeks have flown by … and we feel like we are just settling in. Great walks – to Montferrer – with very friendly restaurant. Warmly recommend it. Walk to ruined castle very easy, fun and lovely views. We only wish we had more time …

The setting, pool, stunning scenery, hot gorgeous sun, flowers, butterflies, shooting stars, walks in woods, your hospitality.

Deeply, we thank you. You are the perfect hosts with just the right mixture of friendliness while respecting the privacy of your guests.

You have created a real paradise … the house … the Gîte … the pool … the garden. We will savour our memories of this part of France.

Thanks for your fantastic hospitality and for creating a fabulous place to live and holiday in. We have had a lovely time and are very reluctant to leave!

It is a difficult trick to be hospitable and unobtrusive but you managed it beautifully.

What a beautiful place to spend our honey moon … thank you!

We’ve really enjoyed spending time around the Gîte, on the land, in the pool as well of plenty of exploring and walking … it was a great two weeks which will be with us for the rest of our lives.

Thank you … we had a most enjoyable week in your comfortable and well-appointed Gîte.

We very much enjoyed Céret … and the suggestion of a visit to Beget was excellent – beautiful village, good restaurants, fine wine.

The Dali Museum was interesting and his jewellery was out of this world! We are already planning another visit …

We’ve had a wonderful holiday in this serene idyllic valley. The weather has been superb – hot and glorious sunshine everyday. The pool has been a welcome friend …

The Gîte is marvellous – French location but Scandinavian style! For us the ‘séjour’ was an opportunity to unwind and imbibe the peacefulness of this place. We thoroughly recommend the Dali Museum at Figueres – a joy and fun.

Roses and surrounding towns are lovely and give the opportunity to bask on beautiful beaches.

One of the best holidays we’ve had.

… peace and quite and timeless days. We have benefited from our rest in this idyllic spot. The Gîte … is a beautiful conversion as everything has been thought of.

We especially enjoyed eating here. Lots of luck and happiness in this lovely home and thank you for making us so welcome.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing and super two weeks staying at Can Llouquette … many lazy days basking in the sunshine around the lovely pool enjoying the beautiful scenery and listening to the river.

When the mountains have been cloudy, we’ve found sun on the beach and Collioure.

Our only complaint is that time passed too quickly … we’d love to stay for another week! Many thanks.

We have really enjoyed our two weeks surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery in the wonderful Gîte.

It was difficult to leave the comforts of the home, although when we did, we discovered many interesting places.

Altogether a superb holiday sending us back home thoroughly refreshed and relaxed.
