die Can Llouquette gefunden haben. Denn die Zeit hier war einfach wunderbar!
Das
wird uns ganz besonders in Erinnerung bleiben: der saftig grüne Blick
von der Terrasse der Gîte, einer herzlicher Empfang, der mmmh so leckere
Ziegenkäse, das ‚Pain au chocolat blanc‘ aus der Boulangerie ‚L’Ours
Gourmand‘ in Prats-de-Mollo, die netten Gespräche mit Euch und das
süße Lachen von Sophia, die sehr stilvolle Einrichtung der Wohnung
... die blauen Fensterläden am Haupthaus, die sternenklaren Nächte,
der Geruch der Luft draußen, Feuer machen in brandneuen Ofen, der Garten
mit dem Holz-zaun (praktisch & schön), Eure Hilfsbereitschaft, und
das herrlich prasselnde Feuer, vor dem wir gerade sitzen.

eure Großzügigkeit und daß wir einen
so schönen Urlaub bei Euch verbringen durften. Wir wurden uns freuen,
uns einmal in Berlin revanchieren zu können. Ihr seid jedenfalls herzlich

Wir haben schon
lange keinen so entspannten und ruhigen Urlaub mehr verbracht! Neben einem
kurzen Ausflug nach Céret zum leckeren Mittagessen im
charmanten Hotel Vidal (danke für den Tipp!) und Tobias Kurztrip nach
Barcelona, war der tägliche Weg zum Fluss die weiteste Strecke, die
wir in dieser Woche zurück gelegt haben.
Mit dickem Bauch und Kleinkind
war Euer abgelegenes, friedliches Zuhause das perfekte Ferienziel. Wir haben
Eure fröhliche Gastfrundschaft und Offenheit sehr geschätzt und
werden gerne wieder kommen, um zu viert beim Rauschen des Bächleins
einzuschlafen und von zwitschernden Vögeln im Sonnenschein geweckt zu
werden!

we enjoyed such a relaxing and peaceful holiday! Aside from a short trip to
Céret for a delicious lunch in the charming
Hotel Vidal(thanks for the tip!) and Tobias’ quick jaunt to Barcelona,
the furthest we got from the house all week was the path to the stream.
With
a large tummy and a small child your rural and joyful home made the perfect
holiday destination. We appreciated your warm and open welcome, and will
happily return, so that as four we can fall asleep to the sound of the stream
and be
woken in sunshine by twittering birds!

holiday here at Can LLouquette! With all the toys, paddling pool activity,
Sophia's companionship for Ada, emergency milk supplies, chats in the sun
over a glass of chilled rose and excellent tips on restaurants and child-friendly
walks, you have managed to give us the most relaxing holiday I think it's
possible
to have with a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old! And in the most beautiful, calming
setting too.
You have done a splendid job with the gîte and your land
and everything is as comfortable and practical as could be. Thank you for putting
the wood-burning stove in for our arrival - we're only sorry we didn't have
more than 2 fires, but then if you insist on providing 28 degree sunshine in
early April ...
You have made us all very welcome and we have so enjoyed
your company - Ada will be bereft without Sophia. We take with us many happy
memories, and a bit
of a tan before summer begins! And Henry is very proud to be the first o your
guests to have taken a dip in the plunge pool, surrounded by 15 frogs!

We are all very satisfied with the walks in the Pyrenees!
We will remember the mushroom picking, blacberries and all the good meals ...

We arrived in a torrential thunderstorm, but were made immediately
very welcome. The weather brightened and we have had brilliant sunshine all
week. We greatly enjoyed Prats de Mollo, Camprodon, Ceret and Collioure. Thank
you for taking us up into the hills, where we had a wonderful seven hour hike,
seeing Griffon vultures, disturbing some wild boar and coming across a hunt.
You have a beautiful house and garden, and I envy you the
challenge of what to do next with the river and surrounding land.
We have loved our stay and hope to see you again. Do come
and stay with us when you do your concert in Torrington.

Despite one rainy day, we have had a wonderful, relaxing

What a great
find! This was a real getaway from urban living … it was
lovely to wake up to the sun shining and have breakfast out on the terrace,
to look out to a fantastic view of green lush hillside, and the sound of the
stream below in the valley.
The gite was lovely and relaxing what a great space!

and Josh have had a brilliant time, up at 9am ready to feed the cats … followed
by a quick ‘chat’ with Zouky.
Both Simon and Ashley have been super
hosts and full of enthusiasm to help us decide on day trips, advice on shopping

We’ve had one of our best ever holidays
here. It’s
been thoroughly relaxing – a wonderful combination of lounging
and activity. The locality charming, and our hosts as helpful
as you could want. If you like your food, Can Po restaurant near
Camprodon
was fab – gourmet food in a welcoming relaxed atmosphere – and
Giselle at Montferrer café was charming to us and the kids.
Walks
and wildlife were another big plus. The notes that come with the
Gîte are excellent. If it is not too hot to walk just enjoy
the pool and large number of butterflies – I counted at least
14 species including the Scarce Swallowtail. Enjoy your stay!

EVERYTHING … the food (sanglier especially!),
handy tips and above all the company and laughter. The place
feels like a second home to us, and you an extension of the Goss
clan.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the area better
and spending time with you … Can’t wait for round

We have so enjoyed our stay at Can Llouquette – a
complete antidote to our usual hectic lives. It was a pleasure
to use the kitchen
which is so well equipped.
We will never forget: collecting the
delicious spring water; shooting stars and butterflies; the tranquillity
and space to
relax; Nathan’s
face (1 ½ years old) when a butterfly landed and stayed
on his hand; spotting a wild
boar up the path late one evening.
We
don’t want to leave and hope one day to return.

Thank you for a wonderful
stay at Can Llouquette. The house is great and you seem to have
thought of everything. Weather was
also perfect and we can’t believe it’s October already.
The
recommended beach restaurant at Collioure was fantastic and le
Diamond Noir in Montferrer was also very good.
Please can you
pass on our thanks again to the man at the restaurant for the
loan of his jump leads when our car battery went flat!
The
restaurant at the bottom of the hill at Le Tech was well worth
a visit, if only to see what came next during the 5-course surprise
lunch!
The boys enjoyed their trip
to Spain for a game of golf whilst we enjoyed relaxing by the pool!
We
arrived back late yesterday afternoon feeling very relaxed.

Two weeks have flown
by … and we feel like we are just settling
in. Great walks – to Montferrer – with very friendly
restaurant. Warmly recommend it. Walk to ruined castle very easy,
fun and lovely views. We only wish we had more time …

holiday in this serene idyllic valley. The weather has been superb – hot
and glorious sunshine everyday. The pool has been a welcome friend …
The
Gîte is marvellous – French location but Scandinavian
style! For us the ‘séjour’ was an opportunity
to unwind and imbibe the peacefulness of this place. We thoroughly
recommend the Dali Museum at Figueres – a joy and fun.
Roses
and surrounding towns are lovely and give the opportunity to bask
on beautiful beaches.
