Can Llouquette (pronounced ‘can yo ket’) is an 18th Century fruit-farm set in an idyllic rural location in the foothills of the Mediterranean Pyrenees. It consists of three independent buildings with several smaller outbuildings.

Situated on the flanks of Mount Canigou, it is a great place to leave the hustle and bustle behind to enjoy a quiet child friendly family holiday or a romantic getaway.

The accommodation
Can Llouquette is a traditional Catalan Mas (farmhouse), recently renovated to a high standard as a private holiday home with swimming pool.

We offer fully equipped, self catering accommodation set in 11 acres of forest and garden. Relax by the pool, stroll around the garden, by the stream, in complete peace and tranquility surrounded by nature.

The property includes two self-catering gîtes (for four people) and two self-catering apartments (for two people). They are self-contained units with their own outside space.

All are separate and very private.

Things to do and see
While Can Llouquette is a haven for those looking for a peaceful, quiet holiday, we also have culture, cuisine, wine, mountaineering, water sports and sightseeing right on our doorstep.

Just two minutes from Montferrer, our nearest village or a short drive to farmers’ markets, supermarkets and spa towns, you can base yourself here and easily explore the area.

We are also just 1 hour from the coast and there are many activities in the region, such as golf, walking or skiing, for the more active traveller.

Getting here
Can Llouquette is served by no less than six airports: Perpigan, Carcassone, Toulouse, Montpellier, Girona and Barcelona.

Simon Williams and Ashley Barrington are your hosts at Can Llouquette. We remain discrete but available to help you make the best out of your holiday with us, whether it is tips or advice about the area, help with anything on the property, trips and days out.

We also have a resident donkey (very friendly) and cats (a bit skittish!): with new arrivals on the way.
